I accidentally gave an example in my last entry (step 1) which belonged here. Step 2 of the Creative Process is defined as "BELIEVE". Here is where you have to absolutely believe that what you have asked for is going to happen. The best way to do this is to think, talk, and walk as if you already have it - in the present tense. That way, you will be expressing to the Universe that you know you have it already. Just like ordering from a menu at a restaurant, you know that the food is coming. If you play the lottery on Friday, and you see that you matched all 6 numbers on Saturday, you know that you won it. You know that all that remains is to take the trip to the Lotto Headquarters to claim the check. That is Believing. For some it will require going into the "make-believe" stages of childhood, where you make believe that you have that thing that you want. Whatever it takes to convince yourself beyond any doubt. Bob Proctor says:"If you do just a little research, it is going to become evident to you that anyone that ever accomplished anything, did not know how they were going to do it. They only knew they were going to do it." The book makes a point that the "HOW" is not important. Let the Universe take care of that. All you do is Ask and Believe, then the third part will happen - Receive. "When you are trying to work out how it will happen, you are emitting a frequency that contains a lack of faith - that you don't belive you have it already. You think you have to do it and you do no belive the Universe ill do it for you. The how is not your paort int he Creative Process." Lisa Nichols closes this idea as follows: "Most of the time, when we don't see the things that we've requested, we get frustrated. WE get disappointed. And we begin to become doubtful. The doubt brings about a feeling of disappointment. Take that doubt and shift it. Recognize that feeling and replace it with a feeeling of of unwavering faith. 'I know that itk's on its way'". Believe.
