The book, The Secret, states that there is One Universal Mind - yours. It is all knowing and all powerful. We are after all created in the image of our Creator - all religious leaders say this. Therefore, just like our creator, we are God-like. We have the power to make things happen, and we do. The human mind is capable of doing anything and everything. All things that are meaningful have emerged from someone's thoughts, whether they admit to it or not.
All solutions to all of today's problems exist already. Just like yesterday's problems had a solution in existence at the time. It was just a matter of someone seeing the solution. By envisioning the solution, the solution manifested itself. Think about it, at first we needed to transport something, so the wheel was invented. Then, the steamboat, then automobiles, and now airplanes. Tomorrow, we will have teleportation. We have evolved as a species on this planet and have created a lot of great technological gadgets. We can go next door, or we can go to the moon and back. Who would have thought about that in the 1400's when people weren't even sure if the Earth was round. We can cure most illnesses, and even reconstruct a animal to near perfection (cloning; human genome project). And I'm sure that some government agencies have technological breakthroughs that we won't know about for another decade or two. The military is always 20 years ahead of civilians. That is how powerful our brains are. And scientists tell us that we only use about 10% of our brain in our lifetimes. Imagine the possibilities if we stretch our imaginations. If we use our brains just a bit more, now that we know The Secret.
The solution to all the problems already exist. It's just a matter of you attracting it by use of the Law of Attraction. In What the Bleep Do We Know DVD, they confirm this concept. They say that the Observer (me, you) causes the wave function to collapse, causing things to appear as we see them, or rather as we want to see them. For example, when someone dribbles a basketball, the basketball is really all over the court. But since we "observe" the ball, it then collapses into one spot on the court. When you shoot the basketball, the projected path can be an infinite amount of possibilities. Our mind as observer, causes it to collapse into one particular path (in our out). But the paths that make the ball go into the basket are there and exit. It's just a matter of getting the mind to "force" the ball trajectory to collapse on that path that will allow it to go in. I've noticed this a few times in golf, when the putt seems to be going astray, and all of a sudden the ball seems to curve toward the hole, and the ball drops last second. The mind over matter principle is alive and well. I think Jordan used this law consciously or unconsciously (in basketball, that is). Just my opinion.
